TRAVELERS OF RUNE-MIDGARD… 

During the early hours of Thursday, July 23, starting at 2:00 AM (UTC-3), the servers will undergo scheduled maintenance. Due to the amount and complexity of the new content, we are unable to provide an estimated completion time. During this period, access to the game will be temporarily unavailable.

In addition to important fixes and improvements, this maintenance will introduce Constellation Tower and its expansion up to the 75th floor, featuring new challenges, equipment, and enchantments. Travelers will also be able to explore the Clock Tower Underground Unknown, enter the Tomb of Remorse, discover the new Expanded 4th Classes, take part in the Noodle Festival in Lasagna, and check out the new costumes available in Malangdo.

We are closing out July with new adventures, challenges, and plenty of rewards across Rune-Midgard!

1. Sunken Tower 
Update: 23.07.2026 (after the maintenance)

A new threat has emerged in the underground of the tower, and Leticia needs your help. Monsters are lurking and could put the city at risk. It’s time to join forces once again and face this challenge together. 

Instance Details

• Access Level: Base level 40 or above

• Location: NPC Leticia (Alberta 214 75)

• Requirement: Party registration (members must be compatible with the rank level)

• Entry Limit: Once every 3 days (resets at 04:00)

• Time Limit: 30 minutes

How It Works

• The Sunken Tower is divided into ranks from 0 to 10, with 20 floors each, starting from base level 40.

• Party members must have levels compatible with the leader and the instance rank.

• The interior is similar to the Endless Tower: descend through floors until time runs out.

• The goal is to hunt monsters and gain experience — no separate bosses or rewards appear.

• The party leader can increase difficulty by consuming 10x Meteor Dust, which changes monster stats and EXP bonuses.

• Every 5 floors, bonus EXP is granted depending on rank and difficulty.

• Monsters appear randomly with different properties, races, and sizes. Leticia’s scream may hint at the predominant property of the day.

• A warning will appear 10 minutes before the instance ends. At the end, all members will be teleported back to Alberta.

Prepare your arsenal, gather your party, and face the dangers of the Sunken Tower.

2. Constellation Tower  
Update: 23.07.2026 (after the maintenance)

A new ruler has taken control of the former Endless Tower.

Naght Sieger, who once ruled from the top floor, was found defeated and consumed by fear. Travelers must now climb the tower once again to discover what kind of creature was powerful enough to drive him from his own domain.

Instance Details

• Required Level: Base Level 240 or higher

• Time Limit: 60 minutes

• Reentry: Resets every 3 days

• Entry NPC: Oscar (e_tower 71 117)

To access the instance, speak with Captain Janssen (alberta 214 77), travel to Misty Island, and talk to Oscar.

How It Works

The monsters on each floor appear randomly and become stronger as the party progresses through the tower.

A random floor boss may appear every 5 floors. These bosses are not included in the required monster count, allowing the party to choose whether to fight them or continue climbing.

Furnaces placed throughout the tower can also be used to advance to higher floors by consuming the required resources.

Bosses and Difficulty

On the 25th floor, the party may challenge Naght Sieger and finish the instance or continue to the 50th floor to face Betelgeuse.

Before fighting Betelgeuse, players may increase the difficulty level of the battle. Higher difficulty levels may provide a greater quantity and variety of rewards.

Rewards

Some of the main materials available include:

• Soul of Naght Sieger

• Soul of Betelgeuse

• Meteorite Fragment

• Meteorite Dust

These materials can be used on Misty Island to obtain and upgrade equipment from the Faint Star and Nebula lines.

3. Constellation Tower: Expanded Update!
Period: 07.23.2026, after maintenance

Part of the upper floors of Constellation Tower has been restored, opening a new path up to the 75th floor.

Expansion to the 75th Floor

A new option to continue climbing will be added to the portal on the 50th floor.

Monsters found between floors 50 and 75 will be stronger and more resistant. While the Betelgeuse encounter on the 50th floor has difficulty levels ranging from 0% to 600%, the version found on the 75th floor begins at 600% and can reach 1,000% after the seals are broken.

Betelgeuse Changes

The battle against Betelgeuse will receive adjustments to its traps, attack-power increases, and defensive mechanics.

Instant death caused by traps will only occur at Level 5, while trap damage at the other levels will be reduced. Betelgeuse’s movement and the appearance of souls may also change depending on the selected difficulty.

New Costumes

Three new costumes inspired by Betelgeuse will be available:

• [Costume] Betelgeuse Doll

• [Costume] Betelgeuse Hair

• [Costume] Betelgeuse Aura

Their drop rates can be checked at the Goddess Altar. A secret costume drop will also become available when completing the challenge at a difficulty level of 400% or higher.

Star Seal

The Star Seal and its special versions will be added:

• Star Seal POW

• Star Seal STA

• Star Seal CON

• Star Seal CRT

• Star Seal SPL

• Star Seal WIS

Each special version provides unique effects and set bonuses when equipped with its corresponding Nebula equipment.

New Enchantments

Nebula equipment and Star Seals can receive new enchantments using Meteorite Dust, Meteorite Fragments, and Zeny.

Enchantments from the Nebula, Constellation, and Star categories will be available. Equipment will not be destroyed if the enchantment process fails.

4. Clock Tower Underground Unknown
Period: 07.23.2026, after maintenance

A mysterious voice led travelers to a suspicious wheel inside the Clock Tower of Al De Baran.

There, a demon trapped inside a box begs for food and asks for help returning to the place where it once lived. After following its instructions and turning a giant spring, travelers will be pulled into a previously unknown area.

Area Details

• Required Level: Base Level 240 or higher

• Location: 1st Floor of the Al De Baran Clock Tower (c_tower1 246 197)

• Monster Levels: 253 to 255

• Main NPC: Box Demon

Quests

The content includes daily and weekly quests, such as:

• The Devil’s Meal

• Mimic, the Demon’s Pet

• The Devil’s Snack

• The Devil’s Special Dish

Weekly quests reset every Monday at 4:00 AM.

Equipment and Cards

The Box Demon allows players to exchange materials and upgrade certain pieces of equipment.

New additions include the Rabbit Print Shirt, Witch’s Broom, Rotten Garden Knife, and new weapons from the Solidified, Malevolent, and Repaired lines.

New cards will also be added:

• Extra Joker Card

• Erzsebet Card

• Jeniffer Card

• General Orc Card

• Zikraus Card

• Goblin King Card

When upgrading equipment, any cards and additional effects applied to the original item will be removed.

Weapon Enchantments

Players can apply random enchantments using fewer resources or select guaranteed enchantments at a higher cost.

Both applying and resetting enchantments will have a 100% success rate.

5. Tomb of Remorse
Period: 07.23.2026, after maintenance

In a decaying kingdom lost beyond space and time, corpses that should have remained asleep have begun to walk once again.

Tiara, the Princess of Remorse, seeks help guiding the undead inhabitants of her former kingdom toward eternal rest. However, the arrival of Sakray, the Magic Swordsman, threatens to reduce the princess’s final wish to ashes.

Enter the Tomb of Remorse, face the undead wandering through the ancient palace, and uncover the forgotten memories of this fallen kingdom.

Content Details

• Required Level: Base Level 220 or higher

• Requirement: Players must be in a party

• Entry Limit: Once per day

• Reset: Every day at 4:00 AM

• Time Limit: 1 hour

• Entry NPC: Princess of Remorse (dali 124 88)

• Location: Dimensional Gap

To begin the entry quest, speak with the Princess of Remorse and accept the quest offered by the Marquis of Remorse.

Main Characters

Tiara, the Princess of Remorse

After losing her life because of the Magic Sword, Tiara was resurrected as an undead. She now searches for the hero of this era to free the royal family and her people from their fate.

Sakray, the Magic Swordsman

With his soul bound by a contract with the Magic Sword, Sakray returns to the ancient palace believing the traveler is responsible for awakening the dead.

Marquis of Remorse

One of the few undead who managed to preserve his consciousness. He assists the princess and the travelers during their exploration of the tomb.

Daily Quests

Before entering the Tomb of Remorse, players can accept four daily quests from the Marquis of Remorse:

• Thread of a Broken Bond

• Cut Through Tears

• Shattered Memory

• Fragments of the Past

The quests involve facing Sakray and Princess Tiara, recovering memories, and collecting fragments of the past scattered throughout the ancient palace.

Rewards

Completing the quests rewards Mineas, which can be exchanged for equipment and other exclusive items.

Mineas may also be obtained randomly by defeating the following boss monsters:

• Princess Tiara

• Cursed Sakray

Exclusive Items

The available rewards include several weapons from the Pænitentia line, developed for different classes and combat styles.

Special sets will also be available, including:

• Magical Pænitentia Set

• Physical Pænitentia Set

Certain items can receive random physical or magical damage bonuses by using materials such as Sakray’s Fury, Sakray’s Wrath, Sakray’s Remorse, and Sakray’s Guilt.

New cards can also be obtained inside the Tomb of Remorse.

6. Expanded 4th Classes Arrive
Period: 07.23.2026, after maintenance

The Expanded 4th Classes have finally arrived in Rune-Midgard!

Seven new evolutions will become available for characters from the Expanded Class lines, bringing new skills and possibilities for different combat styles.

7. Noodle Festival
Period: 07.23.2026, after maintenance, until 08.18.2026, before maintenance

The full moon is shining over Lasagna once again!

As the rising tide floods the docks, unusual sea creatures have begun appearing throughout the area. Meanwhile, the Doram are preparing special dishes to welcome visitors during the Noodle Festival.

Participation

• Required Level: Base Level 50 or higher

• Starting NPC: Festival Receptionist (lasagna 83 197)

After registering, speak with the Festival Manager (lasagna 81 201) to begin the activities and enter Nyail Cave.

Daily Quests

The following daily quests will be available during the festival:

• Codename! Is It a Star Button?

• Noodle Harvest

• Watermelon Dessert

• Down with the Spoiled Noodles!

The quests reward Ravioli Coins, special dishes, Noodle Festival Boxes, and other prizes.

The Duckling Egg will only be awarded once through Patolino’s quest.

Festival Souvenir

After completing all four daily quests, speak with the Coupon Receptionist (lasagna 83 206) to receive the [Costume] Noodle Party.

The costume can only be obtained once per character.

Exchanges and Prize Draw

Galottery (lasagna 86 207) allows players to purchase a Farfalle Coupon using:

• 5x Ravioli Coin; or

• 100,000 Zeny.

The coupons can be exchanged for equipment and consumables or used at the Prize Draw (lasagna 89 207) to receive a random reward.

Duckling Pet

The wandering Duck Dolls found inside Nyail Cave can be tamed using a Toy Button.

Transportation to Lasagna

Noodle Festival Promoters will be available in Prontera, Payon, Al De Baran, Geffen, Morroc, and the Eden Group to transport players to Lasagna.

Daily quests reset every day at 4:00 AM and can be reset immediately by using MeowMeow.

Event-exclusive items and effects will be removed when the event ends.

8. Malangdo Costumes

New costumes will be available in Malangdo:

All costumes can be equipped by every class starting at Level 1.
