Greetings, travelers!

The Ragnarök Online Latin America team is excited to bring you another edition of the Development Notes!

1. About the Development Notes

The purpose of the Development Notes is to inform players about possible upcoming content for the month, without specifying which maintenance updates will bring them.

This happens because unforeseen circumstances can arise and their dates may change.

Even so, we have noticed that players are disappointed when specific content does not arrive in the first maintenance of the month, and we are sorry about that, but the community needs to understand that the information published here corresponds to all maintenance updates throughout the month, not just the first maintenance.

We understand the anxiety surrounding the arrival of your favorite content, but we would like you to understand that it's not always possible to include all the month's content in a single week.

Please be aware of this.

2. Server Merge

As previously announced, the Nidhogg and Yggdrasil servers will be unified into a single server, named Baphomet.

With the merge, several events are being planned to celebrate the new server and encourage a new community among adventurers from different worlds, especially regarding character progression and customization.

Any questions related to the merge will be clarified in the news on the official website.

3. Episode 17.2: The Legacy of the Wise One

It's time to explore the mysterious Varmunt Mansion!

The episode will be available for characters who have completed the main quest of Episode 17.1.

New equipment, enchants, and weapons for level 150 and above will be available.

Some of these items will be more powerful versions of the Illusion Armors, but can only be equipped from level 160 onwards!

A series of new maps with more challenging monsters also await you, with the possibility of dropping cards with specific effects for your character.

4. Level Expansion and Map Adjustments

The adventure continues to expand to level 200, with new dungeons for leveling characters in that range.

However, new maps alone don't make a good adventurer. 

We noticed that some dungeons presented above-average difficulty even for more experienced players.

Therefore, we will be adjusting the following maps:

1) Magma Dungeon 3F: Reduction of elemental attacks from some monsters, removed the skills 'Hell Judgment', 'Acid Terror', and 'Power Up'. Minor adjustments to monsters.

2) Glastheim Churchyard: Removal of the skill 'Dark Cross' from Dark Priests.

3) Dimensional Rift: Reflection skills removed and increased number of Ghost Incarnations.

4) Thanatos Tower 7F: Increased number of 'Watchers'.

5) Illusion of Frozen: Removal of reflection skill.

6) Illusion of Luanda: Increased chance to drop Tokens and removed the skill 'Power Up' from some monsters.

7) Illusion of Turtle: Removed the skill that causes Hallucination.

8) Illusion of Labyrinth: Removed the skill that causes Hallucination.

9) Nameless Island: Removed the skill 'Reflect Shield' from Necromancers. Reduced the frequency of 'Dark Strike' used by Banshees.

10) Glastheim Abyss: Removed the skills 'Power Up' and 'Increase AGI'. Minor adjustments to monsters.

11) Eden Group: Increased chance to drop Bloody Page from Death Word and Mystic Horn from Cornus.

12) Evil Land: Changed the graphic effect of the skill 'Evil Land' to a lighter version.

5. Carnival Event

We know it's outside of Carnival season, but we worked hard on this event, and due to some problems, it needed to be postponed.

However, the bugs have been fixed, and the Carnival event is ready to be launched in LATAM!

6. Explorer’s League

A group of mysterious people has opened a branch in Alberta and is recruiting adventurers for their missions.

Aiming to conquer all instances of Rune-Midgard, the Explorer’s League is exclusive content for Ragnarök Online Latin America and will reward players with new consumables, weapons, and equipment.

These are the planned updates for the month of MARCH.

Content is subject to change during maintenance.
