Development Notes

Greetings, travelers from all corners of Midgard!

This is the Ragnarök Online Latin America Team, and we are very happy to bring you another edition of the Development Notes!

Content for September 2025

1. Reporting System

We are aware of player complaints regarding the use of illegal programs and have been working constantly with the branch office in South Korea to ban malicious users.

Despite our efforts being shared weekly via social media, the community still feels it hasn't been enough. Therefore, an option to report suspicious behavior has been created.

Our goal is to promote a harmonious environment among players and a more united community. This system will not replace our work of finding and banning users of illegal programs, but it allows you to contribute to making Rune-Midgard a fairer and more honest place for everyone.

2. Doram: a new playable race!

The cutest and most revolutionary race in Ragnarök Online is arriving on the LATAM server!

The Summoner is a class exclusive to the Doram race, a new race that is not affected by "Human" race items in war scenarios.

Despite being Small in size, they have 3 build paths that adapt to your playstyle: Fauna for physical attacks, Jungle for magical attacks, and Tides for support skills.

Those who begin their adventures as a Doram will receive all the support provided by the city of Lasagna, the home of the felines. This temporarily includes the Journey Box.

Summoners have a vast list of equipment available for free throughout the game, from Cat Tails dropped by monsters to Doram Emblems, which can be accumulated to exchange for stronger items.

Even if it's not your main interest, try playing the class a little bit: our team worked hard to create this amazing atmosphere of the Pasta continent!

3. New Instances

Two new memory dungeons are planned for this month: Edda of Arunafeltz and Horror Toy Factory.

In Edda of Arunafeltz, you will learn a bit about the story of the Pope and her relationship with her twin brother. The instance can be done on easy mode, from level 80.

In Horror Toy Factory, the monster difficulty requires a level above 140. Your group will face an MVP with mechanics different from other available instances!

4. Other News

One of the biggest user complaints is about the game's economy and Zeny control. To try and balance server inflation, among other measures, the < Kachua's Diamond > event is planned.

In this event, players can exchange diamonds, which cost 35,000 Zeny, for a random piece of equipment. Some are exclusive to Kachua.

Following the release of the Illusion Dungeons, characters above level 160 can venture into the Illusion of the Teddy Bear: a new dungeon with powerful equipment for various classes.

And to boost the launch of episode 15 this month, we are releasing the Excelion Equipment, a set consisting of an Armor and a Cape that can be enchanted in Verus.

5. Episode 16.1: Banquet for the Heroes

Closing the month of September and starting October, we will have the arrival of episode 16.1.

In episode 14.3, we defeated Satan Morroc in the Demon King's Temple located in the Flame Basin. Thanks to the efforts of the adventurers, the world was saved, and the Royal Family of Rune-Midgard wishes to celebrate the victory with the heroes.

This content brings 2 new instances: Room of Consciousness and Sky Fortress.

You will meet the royal families that rule the Kingdom of Rune-Midgard and participate in the coronation ceremony of the next King.

So far, we have presented the updates planned for next month.

The contents are subject to change during maintenances.
