Developer Notes

Greetings, travelers from all parts of Midgard!

This is the Ragnarök Online Latin America Team, and we are very happy to bring you another edition of the Development Notes!

1. Monster Society

We observed that the level range between 70 and 95 presented a certain difficulty for players due to the amount of experience required, causing a certain delay in reaching the highly desired level 100 as a 3rd Class.

Therefore, we are bringing forward the Monster Society: A group of scholars from Juno dedicated to researching monsters.

Various society members will be scattered across popular leveling maps, providing daily hunt missions with rewards in base and class experience.

There are also NPCs in the main cities who can provide teleportation to specific maps.

2. New Dungeons

And for the veterans, two new Illusion Dungeons are coming to LATAM!

The Illusion of Twins tells the story of a Ranger who found a copy of her image deep within the Ant Hell.

And the Illusion of Labyrinth brings the story of members of a Acolyte clan who seek revenge against the monsters of that place.

Both maps are for characters of levels 160 and 170, respectively.

3. The Prophecies of K

A new event is coming and is set to shake up Rune-Midgard!

The Prophet K is in Prontera looking for adventurers who can help interpret a premonitory dream.

If you complete the task, players will be rewarded with Costumes based on the 12 signs of the Zodiac.

4. Free Equipment

Players who reach level 100 will be able to receive free equipment through the Achievement Window.

In addition to Armor, Manteau, Shoes, Ring, Hat, and Shadow Gear, users will receive a beginner weapon according to their class.

And to top it all off, the player also gains a ticket to safely refine these weapons directly to +7.

5. Rockridge

And to end the year on a high note: Rockridge, the Wild West town!

Rockridge is part of a Global Project where various real-world cities come to life in Ragnarök Online. 

Just as Brasilis is inspired by Brazil, Rockridge is based on the Wild West of the United States.

In addition to a new city, this update brings maps for leveling up level 140 characters, being a mine dungeon and the famous Kiwawa desert.

Both monsters and NPCs will be able to provide Equipment Sets for Mechanics, Shadow Chasers, Wanderer, Maestros, Sorcerers, Ninjas, and Gunslingers!

This equipment can also receive enchantments.
