A new era is dawning in Rune-Midgard… Episode 16.1 arrives with fresh adventures, the spooky spirit of the Halloween Event, plus new Cash Shop packages, a brand-new Oval Artifact, and much more! 

On Tuesday dawn (09/30/2025), from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM (UTC-3), our servers will be down for maintenance. During this period, the game will be unavailable and, due to technical adjustments, the return may take a bit longer than usual. 

 
EPISODE 16.1 — A Banquet for the Heroes 

 
Royal Invitation 

If you have visited the New World at least once, a Royal Invitation will be delivered by a Royal Errand Boy stationed in the major cities. Speak to him to receive it and warp directly to Prontera Palace. 

 

 
1) Banquet at the Palace 

• Requirements: Base 100+; must have visited the New World. 

• Flow: A palace servant and Bell guide you to greet the Seven Royal Houses (Walther, Nerius, Heines / Gaebolg, Wigner, Lugenburg, Richard).  

• Some families give short quests; return to your room to advance after the greetings. 

 
Side Quest — “Why am I preparing the banquet!?” 

Help the Royal Head Chef, run errands for Tamarin, and earn EXP + Honor Token. 

 
2) New Content 

 
Dungeon: Ruined Prontera Dungeon 

• Requirements: Base 140+, complete [The Royal Banquet]. 

• Dailies (7): To My Beloved Fellow, Lowly Standards, Clean Life, Finding Lights, Refreshing Prison Life, Suppressing Darkness, Bothersome Little Thing. 

 
Field Event: Prontera Invasion 

• Requirements: Base 140+. 

• Dailies (1 random per day): Ungrateful, Find My Sister, Blatant Bluff, Mad Love for Wife Quest. 

• Assist Spiegel in evacuating civilians after an “unidentified object” awakens Undead. 

 
Solo Instance: Room of Consciousness 

• Requirements: Base 100+, complete [The Royal Banquet]. 

• With Nillem, glimpse the past, aid Fenrir & Iris, and defeat Bijou. 

• Rewards: MVP loot + Honor Token. 

 
Instance: Invasion of the Sky Fortress 

• Requirements: Base 145+; 3-day re-entry cooldown; additional entries with Sky Fortress Ticket. 

• Climb through floors, use Sky Fortress Keys on Activated Warps, and enter special rooms: 

• Shining Treasure Box (treasure room) 

• Immortal Cursed Knight (mini-boss) 

• Immortal Wind Ghost (mini-boss) 

• MVP: Stefan.J.E.Wolf. 

• Key items: Lindy Hop, Sunflower Boy, Juliette D Rachel (can be enchanted in Malangdo, no random options) + the Vicious Mind weapon series (3 random options). 

 
3) Honor Token — Exchanges & Enchants 

• Trade at prt_cas 165 255 for consumables, costumes, and gear (e.g., Magic/Old Card Albums, Oridecon/Elunium, Shining Holy Water, Royal Guard Shield, Flattery/Abusive Robe). 

• Garment Enchants: Runes of Strength / Agility / Intellect / Dexterity / Vitality / Luck (scale with refine tiers). 

• Accessory Enchants: +1 / +2 / +3 to STR/AGI/INT/DEX/VIT/LUK. 

• Reset rules: Garment 100% safe; Accessory has a low break chance. Enchants are random. 

 
4) Key Item Highlights 

• Lindy Hop — Two-Handed Sword; +ASPD per refine, +Physical Damage every 2 refines. 

• Sunflower Boy — Two-Handed Staff; −1% skill delay per refine, +Magic Damage every 2 refines, INT +5. 

• Juliette D Rachel — Katar; double crit chance, +ASPD per refine, +Physical Damage every 2 refines. 

• Vicious Mind Series — Many weapon types; strong refine-scaling bonuses (up to +15).

Halloween Event – The Strange Tale of Jakk

👻 A Mystery in Nifflheim 

The Halloween Festival is in full swing in Nifflheim, but something feels off: Jakk has vanished! As you roam Prontera, Morroc, and Payon, strange whispers reach your ears… and suddenly, your vision fades to black. 

You awaken in Nifflheim, the city of the dead, where spirits are searching desperately for Jakk. From there, a chain of eerie yet amusing stories begins—leading you through quests, secrets, and plenty of seasonal rewards.

Jakk’s Story 

• Uncover clues about Jakk’s disappearance. 

• Defeat 10 Wandering Jakks in Midgard. 

• Collect 10 Pumpkin Decorations and 20 Thin White Branches.

Jakk has lost his beloved Kitty and can’t move to search for it himself. Investigate, follow the clues, and reunite the pair!

The Wind of the Black Hills 

After being reunited, Kitty begins to act strangely… and new Scatletons appear in the Valley of Gyoll. What secrets lie behind Kitty’s change, and will Jakk accept them?

Jakk the Giant Pumpkin 

Thanks to Jakk’s tireless help, the Halloween Festival venue is almost ready! Join the Jakk Catching Game (available once per day) and earn exclusive seasonal rewards. 

Halloween Coins + unique prizes. 

Weird Jakk’s Little Tale 

Rumors spread of a strange Jakk roaming Nifflheim. Track him down, defeat the troublesome Garling, and bring the story back to Herorong.
